As part of the 25th Anniversary of the Marqués de Guadalcázar Infant and Primary School (C.E.I.P.), the educational community has joined forces to pay tribute to those who have left an indelible mark on the school’s history. Coinciding with Book Day, the school has become a vibrant stage of memories and learning. Relevant people who were once part of this institution have gathered to share their experiences and wisdom with current generations.
During these days, students from all educational stages had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the past and learn from the experiences of their elders. Colorful anecdotes and life lessons were intertwined in an intergenerational dialogue. Our elders remind us of the importance of valuing time and pursuing dreams with passion and determination. In these informal discussions, we were also able to learn about the project they are currently working on at the adult school: “The Book of Our Life” . It is an account of their own experiences over time.
Despite the adversities that hindered their academic development, such as hard work and family responsibility, the seniors convey a message of hope and opportunity to the young people. They urge them to make the most of their time and pursue their passions. And they emphasize the countless opportunities available to them to learn and grow intellectually.
